I am a full time local resident having lived here for the past 27 years. There are many interesting things close to our resort and throughout WNC to see and do. Nature is very much a part of our lives here and great fishing and hiking abound. There are 125 major waterfalls here in Transylvania County, and just as many in neighboring Jackson County. Our resort joins the Gorges State Park (approximately 7100 acres) on three sides and is within minutes of the Whitewater Falls, the highest waterfalls east of the Rockies at 411 feet.
